Guillaume Sainteny, President of the “Plan Bleu”.

Guillaume Sainteny has been teaching sustainable development for the past fifteen years, notably at Sciences-Po Paris and at the École Polytechnique. Guillaume Sainteny is president of the “Plan Bleu”. He teaches sustainable development at AgroParisTech after having taught it at Sciences-Po Paris and at the Ecole Polytechnique. He sits, in particular, on the National Biodiversity Council (CNB), the Committee of Experts of the French Committee for the Environment and Sustainable Development (Comité 21), the Orientation Council for Ecological Transition of the “Groupe la Poste”, the Orientation Council of the Federation of Regional Nature Parks, and on the boards of several foundations (Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, Foundation for Research on Biodiversity, Sisley Foundation, etc.). He is a member of the French Academy of Agriculture. Previously, he held several positions in the French Ministry of Sustainable Development, Energy and Transport, including Deputy Director of the Minister's office and Director of Economic Affairs of the Ministry. He was also director of several public institutions: Agence de financement des infrastructures de transport de France, Institut national de l'environnement et des risques industriels, Institut de radioprotection et de sureté nucléaire, Parc national de Port-Cros. He represented France on the Board of Directors of the European Environment Agency. He has published several books on environmental issues including: -Le Climat qui cache la forêt.
